Description
My Brother just before he cut his beard. He was growing it for a long time so we had to capture it before it was gone forever. It`s not grey/white as it appears in this image as i`m sure he would have me point out. I`m very pleased with the tone & detail in the beard.Processed using digital versions of traditional darkroom practices.

Very unusual portrait. It just can not be in colour. BW plays great role here. Even a little overexposed (maybe in processing) face looks just great here, and matches overall mood of this photo. I love it.

Lol he`s a musician and loves 60`s 70`s music and some of his idols had massive beards I guess. Makes him look a lot older in my opinion. He didn`t keep it but he will probably grow it back, he often does.
