Cheat color theory of the night palette by applying an opacity layer in a version of SAI you got six years ago.

Pearl's honker's honestly gonna drive me insane, but at least I figured out how I'll be drawing Steven. I'm not used to drawing kids, they're so weirdly proportioned, yet somehow Spinel was easy to proportion? I guess cuz she has rubber joints and literally no one else I'll be drawing will have that luxury.

The comic will now continue on in full colors, but that means it'll take me longer. I was going to do the whole comic as lineart to get them done faster, but an idea came to mind and so I had slowly added colors starting with Spinel's realization. Supposed to be something metaphoric, so go ahead and take from that what you will.

And y'know what? Maybe I'll give this AU its own folder. It deserves it if I'm gonna keep making these.
