I thought the two would be lovely together (as long as Chrysalis is human, not as a pony/bug hybrid), and thinking of it now, they kinda have a bit in common.
They both control an army of demonic horses.
They both thrive on a certain emotion (Chrysalis-love, Pitch-fear).
