here is my progress of the ville npc im working on.if you want to learn more about the design or have any input, look at my journal.
edit:
-Added a gold trim to the tunic
-Changed the shoulder shape and make it purple instead of cyan.
-Added a book and face.
-added the rest of him.
btw he is a pyromancer, his flame is blue because blue flame is hotter than red flame.
uploaded a bigger version to show the details more.

felt the colours were too varied to i recoloured it simpler.

You could probably animate the blue fire using flash, just saying, it would be way better if it was animated.

i think maybe you could add more details to the shoulder and neck area
the brown collar seem odd since his uniform is red,blue and yellow in my opinion
I love the design of his boots, shirt or top or whatever it's called orz
btw incase your interested or you might already know XD White is the hottest fire.

well the hood/collar is there because he is a traveller after he left the university, so he needed a few traveling accessories like pouches and bags and hoods and such.
also what detailed did you have in mind to add to the shoulder and neck?
and im pretty sure violet-blue is the hotted, its where internal combustion occurs

I was thinking maybe some small runes and or gems. for the neck if you like you can add more stuff to the necklace he has if you like to :3
