EDIT: So I've now decided that Nala and Mheetu are full siblings again and both the children of Sarafina and Nuka, making Mo Nala's half-sister as well. Ni now doesn't have a connection to them besides being friends and whatnot. Mheetu and Mo also have a slight colour scheme tweak but they're not too different.

They're all related through each other.

Ni is the son of Tanglemane. His pride was taken over and his father thrown out shortly after Ni left to find his own pride. When he found out he tried to go back and get rid of the two males but was defeated. He left again to live as a rogue and returned when he was fully grown and took back the pride. He later marries Kula and has a son, Afua.

Nala is Sarafina's daughter with Tanglemane. Sarafina fell in love with the older lion and went to live in his pride but was convinced to return home by Tanglemane when she agreed to marry their daughter of Simba. So she went home and never saw Tanglemane again. She's too young to be Ni's foster mother but they got along anyway. They talk a bit when Nala isn't around when Ni visits Pride Rock.

Mheetu is Sarafina's son with Nuka (Zira's brother). When Mheetu is a mid-teen, he and his mother escape from Pride Rock with Nala's help and find Malka's pride across the mountains. Once Scar has been defeated, Mheetu convinces Malka to bring his pride closer to his old home so that he can more easily visit his sister. He marries Malka's baby sister, Tanga, and they have a son, Juma.
Yes, I designed him to look kind of like Miti (who I have scrapped now, he was going to be Nala and Mheetu's dad).

Mo is Nuka the First's daughter with Subira. He didn't want Sarafina to leave with Mheetu, but he also didn't want to leave his sisters so they argued and she left while he stayed. Then he got together with Subira and they had Mo. After the Pridelanders and Outsiders join, Subira and Mo go to find Mheetu and he lets them join his and Malka's pride so he can get to know Mo.

So, Ni and Nala aren't related to Mo, and Mheetu and Mo aren't related to Ni. They're a string of relations.
