Once I was able to climb the tower, I just had to get an image of the long vast bridge that brings Wander to the start of his fate. I find it interesting that the entrance to the Forbidden Lands first leads you to the Temple before you can head down and enter the Forbidden Lands themselves. It's like the bridge itself keeps your feet from touching what should not be touched by man and to go through the temple is some sort of initiation before you are granted the permission to venture further.
