But in all seriousness, awesome work. A vibrant and lively image with a lot of character and skill behind it.

Hey, thanks! And for the story all the more.

Aw man, this reminds me of last week, when I was taking a quick run through Delta Pavonis, y'know just a quick tour to show off to the ladyfriend and all that. Anyway, I was skimming the atmosphere of Pavonis IV, and wouldn't you know it? The fusion reactors blew. My God, was I embarrassed.

Anyway, the long and the short of it is I had to hitch a ride with some big avian aliens in exchange for selling my girlfriend into slavery. Now, while I'm sure she's mining salt on some frozen hellhole in the ass-end of the galaxy, I'm sure it warms her heart to know I got home safely. I mean, chicks don't get upset by that sort of thing, do they?

I have no idea how they'll get out of there.

at least they can get fish... unless the fish are of the size of a whale. That would be a little problem

There were huge fins cutting the surface in the original sketch, but I left them away ... they made the whole impresson too funny.

That's the most epic ship (that's what I think it is) I'v ever seen!
Broke or not, I want to have it!

Yeah, I'm terribly glad to hear that ... it's my 3rd approach to SciFi, and I was always bad with technical stuff.

Do what I do..avoid the tech and just say. "It looks cool..let the engineers make it work". Nice pic.

Thanks!
The 'looking good' part is hard enough, but fun. Before drawing the scribble for this one I always thought that I'd only muck everything up with my tech-aversion. ;D

Schande, schande.

A friend told me already that she'd not really trust my space ships (or water planet exploring vehicles) ... I think she has a point.

Haha I concur If they're THAT prone to not working in the middle of nowhere... then I need a new builder
