This drawing is so old that I don't really remember what I was practicing when drawing it, other than clouds and water XDBoth of which fail -w- I finally got sick of this sitting around and added the lightning bolts tonight (yay they look awesome x3)- It's been sitting on my computer for at least since May.
Blaaaah all in all, I like how this turned out.

Oh wow, This is really amazing Shade! I love it so much! Thank you, I love the background as well, and how choppy the waves are. It really suits Trinity's element. I also love the lightning bolt, it's like the perfect addition to an already wonderful drawing.

Ah, but this is pretty good already! Why, it's awesome!
However, I can see quite a few things that I believe if done right, this would be a perfect artwork....
While I'm not too sure how long ago you did this(As in every part of the picture, like how old were the waves[Wait, whut? XD], and how long ago was Trinity done...)... XD But I do think that the waves need a little more of a curve in on the inner side(Can't really explain. XD), and that there should be strong, bright highlights on whatever is near the lightning. Lightnings always light up the area around them in that instant they appear....
Plus, Trinity's a tad too bright and stands out from the background in not a very good way. ^^' The shading also doesn't seem to be going the right way, assuming that the lightning is the light source of the picture....
However, the clouds look great! And Trinity's fur looks so.... real! 8D I also dig the epic shading on the water and the clouds! ^^

Yeah the last time I touched this (other than last night to finish of course) was in May and I don't remember how long before that I started XD The background is a lot older. I was going to add more highlights, but I got lazy, since I just wanted to finish this. I found a better way to do water so I just kinda threw this together so I could have it done so that I could practice water again XD
YYeah I even darkened Trinity a bit, I guess it wasn't enough XD Yeah the shading, that happens quite easily when one draws the picture separate XD I probably should have shaded her on the background, but oh well, this whole piece is basically trail and error and I learned some things from it.
