Description

Welcome to the Mao-kurus guide, before I begin I must clarify that English is not my main language, so there may be things that are not understood or are badly written, do not hesitate to correct me.

 GENERAL INFO

  • Although the species is called Mao-kurus, they can simply be called Kurus to shorten.
  • They are a species with great adaptability and ease of learning. This is why they can be found anywhere as well as being very diverse.
  • They have reproductive organs and a vague notion of gender. Their reproduction is viviparous, having only one baby per litter.
  • The species in general is carnivorous, having the fish by preference, however contact with more intelligent species has led some to adapt, so there may be some that are omnivorous, however they are the minority.
  • They live on average 60 years, but there have been cases of kurus who have lived up 120 years.
  • they maximum height on two legs is 1.50, in normal posture they can vary between 80 cm and 90 cm.
  • Their intelligence is less than an adult human, they can learn many things that a human child could learn, but  only a few are sufficiently developed to learn things with too much complexity.
  • The Kurus do not have traits, you are free to put the type of ears, tail and fur you want. As well as horns, antennae and small wings. There are some limitations, noted here.

 Lore
The Kurus are a species that was born fully of evolution, theories speak that the small species was initially forced to migrate outside its origins, using its great adaptability to evolve easily after a few generations. Due to its rapid expansion, more intelligent species soon tamed some, thus causing the species to reach places outside its home planet, even reaching the most arid places in the universe.
At this point, nobody knows specifically what the planet of origin of the Kurus is, but they have become a coveted species among those who can afford it. They are generally known for learning fast and being a faithful company, so in large cities it is rare to see someone on their own, most work as a helper or pet.

However, there are still regions where the kurus live in a wild way, while some continue to live alone under their wild instinct, there are kurus tribes that live on their own, but thanks to the lack of influence of other intelligent species their technology and their Life is simple, each member within the community is a contribution to the growth of the tribe and they protect each other jealously. The most interesting thing is their great belief in the spirits, having traditions that revolve around them, most think that the spirits can create great changes in a Kuru depending on their effort, a belief that even expanded to kurus living in the cities
Despite the differences between the Kurus and the places where they live, they continue to maintain a serene attitude towards other species, even among themselves, it seems that it does not matter if any of the city decides to abandon their life to live in a tribe these always they receive them as if a lost brother had returned to the family. In the opposite case, city Kurus are always willing to teach those who are looking for a life more full of technology and knowledge.
 Curiosities

  • Beliefs in the spirits have had a great reach in recent times, some city kurus have their own meeting centers where some traditions also take place. Some call it religion others simply follow it for  company, however, most agree that the spirits can give great things to those who deserve it.
  • The spirits really grant things to the Kurus, what are called blessings and curses. These are physical modifications, which help or hinder the body of the kuru. The majority feel grateful to be blessed by the spirits, but those who are cursed are often rejected by those of their own kind.

  • There are also mutations, as mentioned before, the kurus tend to adapt very easily, many times this adaptation leads to unexpected variations. A Kuru can be born with a Mutation or mutate under a lot of stress, the latter carries a lot of energy and is usually in some cases painful, so it is not recommended to force your Kuru to mutate, treat it with love. • For now that is. Do you want more information? Leave your question in the comment Featured below!
