Dragons are civilized yeas. But humans are more of the back foot and isolated. Some villages don't even know there are dragons, but they're not really enemies.

Yeah, there's a lot more dragons than humans. Most of it is a world with non-humans. Dragons, griffins, wyverns, hippogriffs, and whatnot.

It was kinda a complex war, more than one side. Plus, they were almost extinct, cursed and lost all their cities and infrastructure. They did kinda rebound, but they were segregated and isolated, and even that took about 800 years.
