That would've never happened if James left Severus alone

I wish they could have gone a little more in depth when they showed Snape's memories in the movie. They showed how close Snape was with Harry's mom, but not really why they stopped being friends, or why Snape joined the Death Eaters.
I think those parts should have been told, since Snape is a very strong character with an interesting background.

I need some input, and this seems like an awesome picture to ask it on.
I recently have been obsessed with HP. I read the fanfictions, look at the fanart, daydream about it. I love LilyXSnape, LVXHP, andSSXHP.Though there is one problem.
I haven't read the books or seen the movies.
Should I read the books or just skip to the movies?

I think they should have shown more scenes of the Prince's Tale in the scene were Harry sees Severus' memories
like before the day Lily went to hogwarts, she and Petunia were argueing
Severus meeting James and Sirius
Lily and Severus' argument after Snape's worst memory

I think so too - that's why I'd love the idea of the Marauders film more than the new Newt Scamander;s story idea.

Hi, me again.
IΒ΄m writting a post in a brazilian blog about some musics who remembers SeverusΒ΄ life, and I would like to use this art of yours to illustrate it.
What do you say?

yes it was already fractured; BOTH Snape and Marauders had to stop their own behavior

Really well done. I like the contrast of red/gold and green in the background. Speaks for itself, really.
I like to think that Lily did forgive Snape, later on, after her death, years later when she saw what he did to help Harry(despite Snape's horrid treatment of him). I like to think that, when he died, they were together again(as the best of friends-and he and James would make peace, cause' in heaven, it's cool like that).
Would you mind if I used this in a slideshow/video(no profit, only entertainment).

yes, I wondered, but Snape's help doesn't justify completely his horrid treatment towards Harry: he could avoid comparing Harry to his father, because Harry was not a bully and a pampered git that loved to be covered by glory. Hey maybe the Marauders too forgave Snape and ask him to forgive them for their prejudices because he was a Slytherin and a former Death Eater.

It is really sad D: It's one of those decisions you make because you just can't take it anymore, in anger, and will most likely regret it later. I wonder if Lily ever did?

Oh it's so painful! T^T Oh hey, I dunno if you like reading fanfics but I found this really great one that takes an alternate route after this scene in the book. I only got 10 chapters in so far, but it's been one of the better fics I've read of these two. [link]
You're very welcome! ^^

This is the scene that made me really dislike Lily, almost as much as I dislike James (yeah, I dislike both of Harry's parents and at times have wondered, especially reading book five, Snape's Worst Memory and this chapter, if Harry wasn't just adopted by Lily and James).
I can't really help it, I mean I get why she broke the friendship, I just don't like that she did.
Anyway, very nice, very sad picture. Poor Snape.

You are very welcome.
Yes, I know. I just really liked the L/S relationship. It just seemed to have more chemistry than Lily and Potter's did. I wonder if later in her life, she regrets pulling completely back from Sev, because really she was the only thing that was keeping him from falling completely under. Once she was gone, there was nothing left to stop him. But yes, love so very easily turns to hate.
lol, Sorry, My Dad and I have these very long, very envolved 'what if' conversations about the Harry Potter universe (and yes, we know, we both need to get lives, lol) and this is one of the more stickier topics that we've discussed.
Anyway, once again great picture

I have these conversations all the time with him and not just about HP. We talk about LOTR, Star Wars... basically we have 'what if' and debates about just about every book and movie, that we like of course, that's out there.
LOL, thanks, I'll do that, he'll be rather amused. Most people who find out that we spend hours on hours talking about a book series, think we're rather weird (that and they can't believe that a 19 year old girl actually likes spending time with her old man talking about a wonderful book series 'shakes head' stupid people).
I wasn't really planning to. I rather like this life that I lead, even if it is a bit mundane a times, it is still fun and mine lol.
You are very welcome and I look forward to more of you wonderful work!
Keep it up!

Well yes I belive the 'mudblood' thing was just the last straw. I'm sure she had other reasons to be upset. But she didn't have to completely cut off ties with him. I mean she KNEW how alone he was. She KNEW of his past and abusive home life. How could she just leave him alone in the world knowing that no one else loved him? And especially being aware that he was constantly bullied every day at school. I'm sorry but she should have known better. Don't get me wrong, I love Lily and she does not have the blame for anything that happened, but I believe turning her back on Severus was a mistake. even so, people are people and we all make mistakes. No one is perfect.
