The big project that I mention in my journal. I immediately started on the background after posting that journal article. Thus, I pretty much tried to overcome my doubt with this piece (which took me about two weeks from start to finish.) And for not having drawn my favorite Yu-gi-oh character in years, he looks a look better than back in high school. (Good examples of where I was art-wise can be found in my scrapbook. Maybe I should take a peek and lol.)

Anyway, about the piece. I started off at 3508xabout 2450 pixels. All lot of this was firsts for me, digitally doing water and clouds, and the fog was a last minute idea before working/importing Kaiba's line art. With permission, "Haughty" taken by was used as initial pose for Kaiba. Domino City was built up using panels from the manga. I wanted to include Alcatraz because the photoshot (to me) made it look like Kaiba was thinking over something. And in the manga, his mind goes back to life under his stepfather's reign. Thus, the fog and Alcatraz.

Farewell Alcatraz fan fiction status: Still typing
