Kell-El (who was still getting used to being called such) walked through the halls of the Legion HQ with his usual scowl. It wasn't that he was angry. In fact he really didn't feel anything as he let his mind wander. The scowl just felt natural on his face after so long wearing it. Many of the other Legion joked about it behind his back, and some to his face, but his apparent lack of humor or patience eventually had them leaving him alone rather than making small talk. That was fine with him, he was never one to socialize. His future had been rather lacking in social events.

The HQ itself was alright. He'd only been there a few hours after losing his own world, and nothing could replace K3NT, but he was adapting. He had to adapt. And mainly he had to push any thoughts of his old world aside.

A pained groan had him pausing outside one room. He recognized it as the room Superman was given. He frowned further and listened carefully. Another groan leaked through the door. Anyone else would have trouble hearing it through the sound proof rooms, but he wasn't anyone.

"How does that feel, Superman?" Brainiac 5's voice floated out. He pushed back surprised but did allow himself to tense. A Brainiac couldn't be trusted, and Brainiac 5 was alone with his predecessor? Why would anyone allow-

"Brainy...Brainy, your killing me," Superman's tormented moan came through loud and clear.

Kell-El's eyes widened and he sprang into action. While he hadn't wanted to admit it, they did need the original Superman and his strength to beat Imperiex.

He pried his fingers between the door's opening and pulled it apart like the metal was mere craft paper. When he saw what was happening, he almost wished he had walked in on a torture room.

Brainiace 5 and Superman were on Superman's bed. The green android was straddling the man of steel (a too adept name right now), who was lying back on the bed shirtless and in just his tights and boots. Brainiac 5 was shirtless as well, his tight purple uniform pants somehow looking even tighter. Both their shirts lay to the side of the bed, their belts there as well like golden coiled snakes resting together. Both had been flushed before, but turning to look at them they turned even darker.

"Sprock..." Brainy said hoarsely.

"Crap," Superman muttered, reaching for his cape at the edge of the bed to cover them.

Bouncing Boy, passing by in the halls, paused to look as well and blushed. "Oh...we forgot to warn you about that these two, huh Kell-El? Kell-El?"

For once, the scowl was gone from his face, replaced by a hanging jaw and a look that said his brain was currently in need of repair. For the next few days, Superman X would not be able to look at the rest of the Legion at all. It would be a month before he could look look at Braniac 5 or Superman.

My entry for the January contest :3 It might technically be just after the end of the episode, but I'm counting it I had a lot of fun drawing the pic, and the fic is just for fun
