Description
So, on my tumblr I did this post , based on the post about Fire Starters in pokemon being based on the chinese zodiac. And I liked my little starters enough I decided to do full lines for them (hopefully all of them)! EDIT: Changed starter name to Staroan to keep with the theme better.So here we have my little fire horse. As indicated, they are pegasi! Star Pegasi at that!
Staroan (Star+Roan(painted horse)): The little horse pokemon. This tiny horse has a lot of fire inside him for his size. Despite having wings, he cannot yet fly.
(also sounds like Stallone according to my mom, aka, the Italian Stallion)
Vegasus (Vega (star)+Pegasus): Both a strong runner and a strong flier, but it can be hard to get this pokemon down from the sky once it gets going.
Sorrestiel (Sorrel (red-brown horse)+Celestial): In old times, this pokemon was often mistaken for shooting stars and meteors as it flew at great speeds across the sky.
I freely admit that I took inspiration for Sorrestiel's pose from the the fakemon Horsunder by Doc's-Sketches. Their pokemon stuff is amazing, totally chek them out! I was just trying to make sure I didn't copy anyone else's design by accident when looking up fakemon horses. I did try to make it very different of course, but it was just the perfect clydesdale shape and pose I wanted so I used it as a loose ref. I also reffed Ho Oh's wings, and Fearow's wings for Vegasus.
