Second major cardboard piece. Not going to even touch this one with color because it came out too perfect and I don't want to risk messing it up.

The backstory didn't come until I actually drew it fully. I imagine this being was once a kitsune, underwent some form of trauma (IDK what yet), and was transformed into an oni or some similar form of youkai. (Or, maybe went from zenko to yako, light to dark, benevolent to malevolent, etc.) They then went before Inari Okami, and asked that he cut off their tails. In doing so, they can never go to the celestial realm, remaining on Earth, never to ascend.

As a kitsune, their name was Kōtta Hana no Tama (Google Translate Japanese: "Perfect Jewel of the Frozen Blossoms"), but their current name is Kowareta Kage (Google Translate Japanese: "Broken Shadow").
