Got this idea last night randomly while listening to music.Kinda half inspired by [link] and like... A few other metal songs.

The tree kills the depth in this picture I think. You should let your light source in the background reflect on the tree and its textures. The contrast at and around the roots of the tree is too big, so it looks a bit like it is floating in the picture and just placed on top of everything else. You should work more on the tree, so it matches your landscape. Maybe even give it a texture so it it won't stand out, as much is it does at the moment. Also, if you are up for it, add light on your character as well, so the lightsource becomes more clear. I hope it helps.

Ok, thanks, I'l try to fix that. Though, for the whole tree thing, it was part of the background and all. I never added that, though I could try to blend it myself more.

That's exactly how I felt when I arrived to the Wetlands after the Shattering, and found it like... well, the way it's now. - .-
Great piece. The only thing that puzzles me a bit is where is the head of that horse. ...not being able to spot it. But I guess it's a little pointless to make critique at this point. lol. Awesome job, anyways.

Seriously, they fucked up all our stuff... SW got beat up, the Wetlands, Loch Modan, Southshore! (damn undead >.<), and there's horde encampments in every freaking region. it's ridiculous.

No, I thought it was pretty much right, the only bit I might have lightened slightly more was the bottom, where the grass is, to show up the shadows more clearly. But I think it looked great!

something about the guy makes me think of world of warcraft... I think it is something about the passive stance... the image does evoke a pensive feeling, but perhaps a little less symmetry in your figure would help? Compositionally I feel like he is a little lost on the page, perhaps building more contrast (its very dark) might alleviate that...
Overall a nice concept; I think with a little tweaking it could make a very striking image.

You're becoming really good with handling photoshop!!! I somewhat agree with the critique given when it comes to the tree, but i would give a whole five stars for the impact, cause it's just amazing... It brings out so much emotion. And I think the title adds so much to it^^

Thanks ^^ It's odd too, because this picture was rather simple to make compared to what I normally do >.> The hardest part of this was getting the outline off of the knight standing there. He decided to rip a great big blue outline when I went to move his file to the background file.
