looks like a hash joint to me, but could definitely be just tobacco (hey, if he ever got busted and they searched his computer, at least they couldn't nail him for this? 
and whoever said you hold it with your finger and thumb "to get a full hit" is retarded, it makes no difference how you hold it
the only people who hold it like that are beginners who think it looks cooler, but when you start smoking weed for the actual effects and not the image, you'll realise it's far more practical to hold it like shown above
weed is a hobby, not something you do to "look cool", which is exactly why kids shouldn't smoke it... they don't appreciate it and just ruin it for the rest of us serious smokers
