So glad we humans have internal skeletons. Finding our moltings everywhere would be crazy creepy.

I have never seen a molting tarantula before, it's interesting that all the little hairs also molt. I suppose I've always thought that it was similar to humans peeling from a sunburn, the skin peels away, but the hair stays. Also, Jessica is a wonderful name for a spider.

You're welcome and that's all quite fascinating. I appreciate you getting back to me so soon, I really don't know anyone who keeps tarantulas and it's nice to find someone who keeps them and seems to know quite a lot about them.

Oh, I don't have one. I know that they do eat crickets and to be honest, crickets kind of scare me.

Yea, I meant if you get one I'll be happy to teach you what I know. So what's so scarey about crickets? Have you ever eaten crickets before? I have and they actually taste good although it depends more on what they eat before you eat them. The ones I had tasted like peanut butter! It's hard trying to cook them. I only tried it once and they kept jumping out of the pan before I could get a lid on.

Oooh. I will be sure to keep you in mind if I ever do decide to get one. As far as the crickets, I think it's because they're unpredictable and jumpy. They're like tiny explosions of insect!

Yes, they are unpredictable and jumpy and that's what makes them so very fun to catch! ^_^
