Weather Type: Rotating Wall CloudLocation: New Orleans, LA
District: 9th Ward
This wall cloud appeared out a extremely visual rotating supercell thunderstorm. I was with my church, working on fixing up a Hurricane Katrina damaged home at the time. The wall cloud was hanging pretty low and it was tightening up fast. Also a satellite tornado was spinning up a few feet away. It was pretty scary to be right underneath both of them. The only sound you could hear from the wall cloud was the sound of air being sucked into it and the rumbling of near by thunder. We managed to escape before a funnel began to drop from it.

an't that funny how all the good storm music plays on our head is during a tornado monster is not my favuret tornado song its really animal i have becume by three days grace the lyrics are . I cant escape this hell so many times ive tried but im still caged in side somebody get me throght this nightmare i cant control myself so what if you can darker side of no one will ever change this animal i have becume help me bealive this is not the real me sombudy help me tame this animal

I had a gut feeling today that I might end up seeing one of these wall clouds but I never did keep an eye out and no warnings related to a wall could went out so I guess my gut feeling was wrong.

Yeah we were at Walgreens and all the employees were lined up at the front window, watching. I accidentally made some noise and scared the crap out of most of them lol

I've come close to having our house blown away last year. It was on a Saturday afternoon when the sever storms moved in, all over the news there where super cells building up like crazy all over the northern part of Georgia. Atanta was the first to get hit, & that same storm had it's eyes on Jackson county. The national weather service issued a warning, right then the tornado sirens went off. I called mom to see how things looked over in Oglethorpe county, she said all they where getting was rain. Half an hour latter me, & my dad was out on the porch when a funnel cloud showed it's ugly head. Being in a mobile home we jumped in the car (not a good idea), & left. Three, yes three wall clouds where heading straight for us. I hope that never happpens agian. If it was in another state I would have taken photos, but it was too close to home.

WOW!! THAT IS SPOOKY AND VERY SCARY!! And YOU HAD THREE WALL CLOUDS CHASING YOU AND YOUR DAD IN THE CAR?! *Shiver goes down spine* YIKES!!! I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS IF I SAW THOSE COMING AT ME!! I LOVE to watch Severe Weather, But I don't like seeing it really close to my parent's House! One Time at night, When My Dad was at work and my mom, me and my little brother were at home, a BAD severe Thunderstorm was over our house and the sky got covered with Spooky Thunderheads, the Sky turned LITERALLY DARK GREEN, THE WIND WAS BLOWING SO HARD THAT WE COULD FEEL THE HOUSE ROCK AND LIGHTNING STRIKES WERE STRIKING LIKE CRAZY!!! I THOUGHT A TORNADO WAS GOING TO HIT THE HOUSE! I quickly got dressed into my work pants, heavy work shirt, overalls,glasses, Earphones,Saftey Glasses,Hard Hat and My Steel-Toed Boots to protect my body from any falling debry just in case if a tornado touched down, then I grabbed a blanket, Pillow, Radio, Emergency kit, a folding chair and I also grabbed my pet birds and ran into the basement with My Mom and my Little Brother! IT WAS SO SCARY!! I thought one time I heard the Tornado Sirens go off! MAN THAT WAS SO SPOOKY!!! And Like you said, I would of took some pics, but that was too close to home!!

have ever ran or road your bike through a dust devil its alot more fun and oddly ehough its common to do that its so much more with frends with ya like on time me and the guys road our bikes thour a dust devil my freind was listening to dance with the devil by breaking beajamen

Your right, not only was the whole being cahsed by 3 wall clouds scary, but when the sky truns that awful green, the air becomes calm, & still, & all you can haer is the thunder, & sirens. That is the realy creepy part.
