Everybody remember Shadow Lugia? Well, I've begun my little series of Shadow Eevee evolutions. They're mostly for my Pokemon game that I came up with as a sequel to "Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness." This time, it focuses on XD's main character's son/daughter (you can choose which gender this time). Also, the Shadow Pokemon are Eevee evolutions: Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, Leafeon, Deseon (Ground-type), Phanteon (Ghost Type), and Angeon (Flying Type).

At the beginning of the game, a truckload of new Pokemon being delivered to Pokemon HQ (which has now been turned into a lab/ Trainer school/ battle arena) is stolen by Shadow Glaceon, Umbreon, and Espeon. Later, Team Cyber (which has teamed up with Team Chipher) comes and steals XD's hero's (who has now become a teacher at the the Trainer school, and is called Lucas) Flareon, and runs off. Then you have to snag the Shadow Pokemon (duh!), and return them to their original owners (just the Eevee evolutions; everybody else, you keep). Something I think is cool, is that these Teams have increased their Shadow Pokemon knowledge, and after a certain point in the game, every Shadow Pokemon you meet will have an alternate appearance.

Something that I added to this to show advances in the Orre region are Gyms, an Elite Four, bigger Pokespots, and some new cities. Also, there's new Pokemon!

I have some stuff I can't decide on:

1. Starters. I don't know If I should pick three starters to choose from, or have a pre-set starter. I'm personally wanting the pre-set starter thing. On the pre-set starter, whichever gender you choose determines what starter you get. I can't decide on a single set, although I have a bunch to choose from. Here's the sets I have so far:

Male: Rattata Female: Zigzagoon
Male: Kecleon Female: Spinda
Male: Caby (male) Female: Caby (female)
Male: Kangamini (male) Female: Kangamini (female)

2. Name. I don't know if I should allow the player to pick their own name or have a pre-set name. If you can pick your own name, then you can show more individuality. If you get a pre-set name, then it would be possible to have the characters actually speak instead of text.

3. Nicknames. This poses the same dilemma as names.
