Description
It's a sculpture in a bottle!I made this for a birthday gift for an awesome person. ^^
This little dragon is in a glass bottle that some FX contact lenses came in, and which I was keeping for when I felt confident enough in my abilities to make something small to put in it. :3
I can't remember the exact measurements, but I think it's about 3cm high and 2cm wide? Around that, anyway.
The earphone is there for scale!I actually took photos all throughout the process, so I might upload a sequence of images showing how I did it, if anyone is interested! x3
I'm actually really pleased with how it worked out.
In hindsight, The only thing I'd really change was to use silver wire for the rose instead of copper - sadly copper wire was the thinnest I had. xPI also finally found a use for the teensy watch parts I bought a while back!
Lot's of finicky details, and strange self-made tools, but amazingly good fun to make!

I love it! My only critique would be that because it's so small and fragile you might want to consider filling it up with resin or if you don't want to mess with that the clear craft glue works amazing. I would hate to see anything break because he's a cutie :3

What brand of craft glue/ resin would you recommend?

Resin can be kind of a pain in the butt, so I would say use the Elmer's clear transparent glue. You can pick it up at michaels oand I think it's only $3 or so, but it works great!
