Prologue

Far astray from the safety of it’s cavern, a massive blue dragon soared above the dark clouds of midnight. It’s sun-glazed wings valiantly pounding at the soft air, shimmering cerulean scales basked in moonlight, neon green eyes softly glowing, leaving bright moss upon the mist. With it’s head reared back, the beast let out an Earth-shaking roar that made the inhabitants of the city beneath cry out in fear, and the heavens themselves quiver. The dragon grinned in primal joy, letting out another roar just to force fear further into the people’s hearts. She glided to the side, then dived straight down towards the town.

Children and adults alike cried out in shock, scattering every which way. The marauding creature just laughed meticulously in a voice not unlike what you would consider pure evil, setting forth a stream of it’s horrendous blue flame. The poor creatures caught in it’s heat were dead on contact, the scorching power of the fire completely melting the human’s weak organs.

“All who hear my name doth tremble! For you are under the power of Fireheart, Guardian of All Pain!” The monster roared in triumph…
