Art Trade with , it's her Chara Joia ^^Finally!! I really don't know why , but it took me ages to draw this piece x_x"
First I wanted to draw it digitally , but then switched back to traditional D; (had two digital tries , but didn't like them much sta.sh/0x00kozvp5u , sta.sh/0m7p1fo0d6v )
Well , it's really hard to get colors and values right in snow scenes (and I know that my painting has quite a lot blue in it xD ) , but I do enjoy drawing them anyway ^^

Really beautiful detailing in this awesome wintry scene right here, loving the lighting here very much too. The blueish hue, and dark solid shadows of both the character and their surroundings here. Are such an impressive such, really nice effects used!.

It's a gorgeous picture. You painted the shadows in a wonderful way, and all the shades of blue are beautiful, they create an enchanting atmosphere and the lights make me think of a quiet sunrise. I don't know why, but, although this is a painting, it's... silent. xD One of those silent mornings on the mountains... The character is just adorable! (Those eyes!!) And I love how you made the path: its quite warm colours perfectly fit with the "coldness" of the scene.

Those blues where definitely a struggle , I repainted them like 2 or 3 times, I guess, until they were fitting , since they were just too greenish at first .
I'm totally happy to hear that you think of a quite sunrise and silence as it's exactly what I wanted to illustrate in the scene .
At first I also was pretty unsure if the path would fit into the scene in a nice way but it gives a good contrast indeed with all the cool blues around ,

I really love the shadows cast on the snow. I would maybe suggest adding a little more detail on things in the back of the picture just so they aren't too out of focus (the mountain blends with snow pass a bit), maybe add just a few more details or shadows. Overall I really love the cool colors :3 Just curious but what did you use to make it? I'm torn between pencilsand paint XD

Actually this picture is pretty the opposite of how I draw usually because I'm a real detail-freak , but still I love it when the things that are out of focus are painted more sketchy/painterly
This picture was my first attempt to try out this method xD
I'll will go on improving it by adding slightly more details/shadows next time :3
The painting was done with acrylics for base colors/shapes and then I touched it up with some colored pencils xD

The background is amazing, loving the shadows on the snow. Blue is your friend when it comes to snowy landscapes ^^ I'm also loving that shadow of the creature thingy. The creature itself is done pretty well, the shading on it's body gives it some real 3Dness. However, it's eyes are just....dead. And kind of derpy, the eyes are creepy. They could have done with some direction. Other than that it's great.
