Naga are actually closer. They have Snakehumanoid bodys.
While a Lamia is just a Snakedemon with scales and even legs originally.
Also one that likes to drink the blood of Children until they are, yeah... dead.
It annoys me since years that the term Lamia became popular. Also sounds less cool if you ask me.
Kinda sounds like people are "trying hard" to introduce something more distant from being normally Human.
I hate Blizzard but damn the world should have just went with Naga for tailbodys entirely, since Blizz introduced them in Warcraft 3 and the Addon 'Frozen Throne'.
Lamia sounds like garbage bullshit compared to it.
But I adore Miia anyways. ^^
