Lady Dragon Liling, Lóng fū rén (龍夫人)
A respected name that has resonated as her voice, down through the ages and served as a reminder of the strength of love and compassion for other people.
Centuries ago, before the ancient empire of China, there was a young woman called Liling. She loved to sing, and her beautiful voice echoed daily on the pillars of Zhangjiajie, near her village. She was renowned for her kind disposition and desire to assist needy people. Liling's dream was to leave Zhangjiajie one day to be free as her voice, as a bird traveling the world and showering kindness and love to everyone she met along the way.
One day, when Liling sat in the forest singing, a wise and ancient dragon spirit came to her, attracted by such a lovely voice. The Spirit, whose vision and wisdom were far more than any mortal could reach, sensed Liling's sensibility and pure heart and pledged to fulfill her greatest wish in exchange for her singing for him. Liling eagerly accepted the deal and began singing a beautiful melody. She was transformed into a beautiful and radiant dragon at the song's end.
The limitations of the human body no longer constrained Liling. She flew across the sky, her scales glistening in the sun, and she spread her chants, goodwill, and love wherever she went. The villagers celebrated her arrival, and centuries later, the empire's citizens hailed her as a beacon of calm and optimism. She never lost her sense of modesty or compassion and was always there to aid people in need. And thus, her legacy endured, motivating future generations to work toward a society where kindness and love are prioritized.
Liling became known as Lóng fū rén (龍夫人), meaning Lady Dragon, a respected name that has resonated as her voice, down through the ages and served as a reminder of the strength of love and compassion for other people.
