I've had, like, 0 motivation to colour stuff lately.
Well, actually that's a lie. I've had 0 motivation to INK stuff. I enjoyed colouring this because it was sent to me pre-inked. God I hate inking, and tbh did a much better ink job than I usually do.
Loved this picture when I saw it, so it was a pleasure to colour it for her.

The way I do hair is definitely not difficult. Draw a blob of colour and then smudge tool the hell out of it. For shading add one slightly darker colour on top.
And yes, her version is stunning. I wonder what it looks like on paper, since most scanners butcher a traditionally coloured piece.

Yes, I know EXACTLY what you mean D: Most traditionally scanned pictures look better in real life. Like mine for instance. The scanner makes the colors brighter than it should be.

Hehe...I didn't think she'd love them THAT much. All those gifts--save for the contest entry for her recent contest--all came from sheer boredom, unplanned and uncalled for really. This is why I see myself a bit of an impulsive art idiot.
At least one who actually impulses effort to making some surprise gift and not just asking 'you cool, wanna be friends?' LOL
