Regarding GFX, I've noticed you're using blending modes a lot. It's not the only way you can do GFX; typically, I use a LOT of functions, such as duplicating layers, blending modes, erasing parts and replacing them, using fractal backgrounds (I use my own fractals instead of stock images so far)... the list is pretty much endless.

I have used some parts of erasing with a soft brush, combined with blend modes, as well as masking with feathered edges.

Well, it's a bit of a broad term. I use the term GFX when I'm editing images extensively, such as when I'm making a banner signature.
Cool; that's a great start! You may want to look into filters and adjustment layers if you're looking for more ways to edit images.

Just a little word of warning though; Pixiv is NOT stock. Other people's works are NOT stock, unless explicitly specified. I, as an artist, would personally find it annoying if someone used my work, especially if they don't credit me. Other artists may be okay if you credit them.
I would personally advise you to use screenshots, stock images and images you made yourself.
Remember, anyone who comes by can be the 'no-fun police and report you.
As for me, I use screenshots and my own fractal images.
Sorry if I sounded like an ***hole; I'm just giving you a warning before anything major happens.

I do actually credit the people, or at least try to. Sometimes the images disappear from pixiv and I cannot credit them. But most of the time I use official artwork, such as screenshots.
I actually went to a pixiv user with one of my artworks and they said they loved it. So I assume they were ok with it.
