These pics were taken at the reconstructed Wampanoag village adjacent to the English 1627 village at Plimoth Plantation in Plymouth, MA. The Native People in these pics dress in the period clothing of their ancestors, as they would have appeared to the first colonists of the early 1600s.

The Wampanoag are an ancient Native American tribe, belonging to the Algonquian language group of New England. Though initially friendly to the English colonists, they fought against them during King Phillip's War in the late 1600s.

These images are of living reenactors, and so this is RESTRICTED STOCK. Please see my Journal for rules.
