actually, if I remember correctly, it has been implied in a few comics that this is how she actually looks and the skinny version we see is just a psychic projection. Just thought I'd throw that out there

again, I'm not sure about that as a I'm just a casual comic reader. I do remember one issue where she appeared fat and the villain taunting her saying that no one would love her since she wasn't gorgeous anymore. Now I can't remember if that was just the villain messing with her or actually dropping her illusion. And there is a precedent for her changing people's perception of her; in the "Old Man Logan" series, where everyone was 20 years older, she made herself look like she wasn't a day over 30. Then there's all the different continuities you gotta deal with
