Description
A Belle gown I made on commission. Design is based off of the shapes of the Disney park Belle, but redone in my own personal way. No pattern was used. Hopefully, I'll have much better pictures of it on the person it was made for soon. My workroom doesn't do it justice.

The petticoat is a double layer of crepe gold satin and gold shimmer organza, edged in color shifting metallic lace. The over skirt is six panels of gathered satin and organza overlay with satin edging and fabric roses. All of the roses are hand sewn with rhinestones and orange and gold crystals in the centers.
The bodice is a triple layer made with steel boning and a hook and eye closure in the back. The shoulder drapes have elastic running through them to hold them tight over the shoulders during movement. One the shoulders, there is a small cap of gold sequin fabric and metallic lace underneath the rose.
In the center gather, there is a design of orange crystals and rhinestones for a little extra bling.

Overall, this is a very light dress for the amount of body and fabric on it because of the fabric choices.
