I am sure there are some out there. I don`t tend to do replicas as you need a the licence to sell them if you make more than 1.

Hmmm... Interesting idea. Although, i do know one thing, i really need to get one of the leather crafters to fashion me a new quiver... my arrows chewed holes in the last one...

Ah brilliant, I have always used cold casting or sponge method for my metals but I have to give that method a go on the next build. Thanks!

what did you use to get such a good metal finish on GRP?
also what is the semi-flexible polyurethane you use?

I use a chrome paint. There are plenty out there. The quality of the finish is all in the prep. It has to go over a perfect gloss black.
I have been using poly plasti flex by nottcut but I don`t think its good enough. I will soon be getting a Graco machine.

It is used alot in the film industry. It sprays ployurea resin which cures in 7 secs. The resin is very, very tough but flexible.

It's breathtaking. Are you going to make the Griffon Knight's armor as well?

Thank you very much. I made the dragon armour which was sort of ment to go with it, but I am working on another suit now which also could work with it.

beg your pardon, what GRP stands for?

DragonArmoury In reply to DoomGalleon [2011-02-16 21:37:53 +0000 UTC]
Hi and thank you. GRP is not to bad and I have taken a few hits and it held up ok, but I did drop mine and broke it. I have started using a semi flexable polyurathane now and that is fantastic.

Pardon me for cutting in, but that semi flexable polyurathane...A gauntlet made from it, would that be flexible enough to move your fingers?
