Description
Well tomorrow is the start of the second pit season and I felt like warming up for it the night before. Did a bunch of doodles and seemed to be better than the rest so I doodled some more. Strangely I started with the eyes this time and drew around them. Then tried shading expressively rather than for lighting, needs a little work I think. And needs a background, maybe if I color it I'll attempt a background (Might just use one of the many pictures I used when I was riding. Lighting wasn't very good taking a picture of this in my room so I messed with it in Gimp a little, may retake the picture while I'm at the pit they seem to look really nice when the sun is out.

Drawing this I kept envisioning her saying, "Get down her right this instant!"

Tried sketching a few side profiles of her face before this but man am I having trouble doing that for some reason. Growing up that was the easiest way of drawing any dragon head was from the side profile!

Some people will look at this and go, "She has no earring!" or "She has no tattoo!" Well as I was drawing this, the only reason she could possibly get this kind of stern look on her face is around unruly children she is in charge of and around 13 or so for her she did some babysitting for some extra cash to buy a phone. She is in high demand for watching hatchlings and young dragons mainly because she's the only dragoness for miles that is willing to babysit (hatchlingsit?) dragons. And boy do young dragons on sugar give her a run for her money, since her thick scales weigh her down she doesn't fly fast and they fly circles around her but in turn they can't even scratch her (Parents are liable for the ruined clothing thankfully). Now what does this have to do with not having an earring or a tattoo? Well she gets her tattoo when she graduates at 18 and the earring was the year prior I think... I have stuff written down and planned for a story with her but I'll have to look sometime buuuut, middle of the night and need to wake up early syndrome.

Wonder if I'll come up with anything to draw tomorrow? Maybe I'll practice drawing Chill from different angles, I'd like to illustrate some moments in the story I'm writing for her.

Orrr someone could give me an idea on what or who to draw, I'm at the pit allllll day and have plenty of time to sketch a few pictures.

Anyways I have to sleep... After I read through a few deviations in my inbox... THEN SLEEP I SWEAR!
