My entry for the DBZ FC couples contest, but I wanted to avoid the standard mushy couples picture. There are plenty of women who have characters involved with Vegeta, the only reason Virana is actually 'with' him is because my husband roleplays him in the rpg we met on, so I figured a couple pic with him would make sense, but I wanted to do something other than something sappy and romantic... we never roleplayed like that. I think this pretty accurately portrays our 'relationship' through most of the rpg ^_^

I'm really pleased with how this turned out, I've had trouble coloring ssj hair in the past, as well, this is the first time in ages I've drawn Vegeta, thanks in part to lots of harassment and encouragement from ~guruubii. It's kind of a slight pause in their battle, when Virana loses track of Vegeta, and suddenly realizes he's right behind her, about to fire a dense ki blast, but she's also at a disadvantage because the light is coming through the clouds from right behind Vegeta, so she can't clearly see him.... she's very doomed ^_^
