This was Shadow Bakura's first appearance on DarkHourBakura proper. I actually consider this drawing the baby brother version of the original Gekkoukan!Bakura drawing here , you can see I reused a lot of the same elements XD;; I was experimenting a bit stylewise but ultimately stuck with the cartoony look that continues on the blog today.
Actually, the original plan was for Ryou to be the main blog host and to sync S. Bakura's answers to the full moon cycle in real-time... but that didn't leave any room for improvising. Also, S. Bakura turned out to be super fun to write, so once-a-month appearances were a no go.
