Unfortunately yes, it's super obvious but people apparently don't have common sense ._.

I may be a huge idiot, but if free speech "isn't what you think it is", then what is it?

I still will always think people allow themselves to be offended at everything, no matter how many times you warn them.

Sometimes it is difficult to know how to interact with some people, but your words are true enough.
I'd add a thought though, if you don't mind.
"You've gotta be kind"
- a wise old calculus teacher
Still, being kind to others is difficult when they're treating you badly.
Part of me believes that continuing to be kind, even in the face of cruelty is the right thing to do.
Another part of me is not so benevolent.
Morality is a quagmire of subjectivity, but we should still try to do our best.
I hope you have a great day.

True, I guess I could modify the ending ovo thank you
Indeed, Im always philosophizing about that same thing, is being kind all the time worth it?
Thank you ^^

I love that you mentioned autism and free speech because one, I know a kid that had autism and IT IS BAD. He sees the world very differently and well tends to be a little violent sometimes. BUT that is what he thinks he's doing might just be helping and all ( I don't know much on autism but yes, don't bully because of it) and free speech isn't EQUALITY BISHES...thank you!

"No, autism and other mental illnesses aren't an excuse to be a jerk to other people"
Thank you for this. I know more than a few people who use their mental illness as an excuse to be extremely rude to people. It's more common than you might think, and it makes people who have actual behavioural disorders look really bad.

"Free speech" is any speech that is not calling for unlawful violence against someone. So even if someone says something you don't like, it's still protected under free speech. They have the right to say it if they want to.

Okay, just checking. Because I see a lot of people who think free speech means you can say what you want as long as you don't hurt people's feelings, and that becomes a problem. The reason free speech exists is so people can say things others might not agree with or like. I'm glad to hear you see it the other way.

May I also add:
No, your group being disproportionately affected by something doesn't mean it's targeted by that thing.
Otherwise, you're spot on.

Someone could use that exact argument to debunk a lot of leftist ideas, like the fact that there are less women in the sciences than men. I don't know if you're on the left, but if you are, I'm just trying to point out it works both ways.

No, having a different orientation than someone does not make you better/more special than them and doesn't give you the right to be a discriminatory asshole about it.

I forgot about that one, sheesh, yeah, so many people acting like "I'M SPECIAL AND SUPERIOR BECAUSE OF MY ORIENTATION", and yes, it applies to all orientations.
I guess I was afraid of getting too snarky xD
