"The dragons of Fire, Electricity, and Wind were descended from Illuminus. While the dragons of Ice, Earth, and Water came from his mate Cosmos. Cosmos and Illuminus are the Celestial Guardians--the ancestors to all dragons."I've been working on and off on this piece for a while. I just love my characters Illuminus and Cosmos. I am still kinda dissatisfied with this pic, I didn't realize it until after I drew it but Illuminus' pose is exactly the same as his concept art that I drew. bleh
The halos in the bg are arcane brushes from *redheadstock [link] I had been waiting for an opportunity to use those since they are so beautiful.

I wish I was talented enough to do comics.

As you can see, my artwork is alot to be desired,
so all I can really do is write stories in written form, and hope for the best.
As for the story in question, It all really began with me putting 2 and 2 together
with My Little Pony and Legend of Spyro. how PURPLE Dragons are pretty much "Dragon Avatars"
And, Spike the Dragon IS a purple dragon.
The plot of the story is that in my MLP/LoS headcanon, there are two neighboring planets: Equus and Draco.
Equus is where the events of Friendship is Magic takes place
("Equestria" being the name of Celestia's kingdom, with Canterlot and the Crystal Empire being capital cities)
Draco is where the 'Legend of Spyro' takes place, with Avalar and Warfang as it's capitals.
as the names imply, Equus is a Pony Dominated world, while Draco has Dragons as it's dominate species
(in fact, it's from Dracos that all dragons come from..even the dragons on Equus.
the proposed story begind when Malefor returns after 1000 years
(by this time, Spyro has died. leaving behind children and grandchildren.)
and, has set his sights on the new purple dragon that has preceeded Spyro: Spike.
as a new darkness has come to Equestria (and, Spike is caught in the middle of it)
Celestia herself joins the Mane Six to Avalar, in order to get to the bottom of this and STOP the 'Dark Master'
story points is Spike learning about his birth parents (names pending),
finding kinship in the Avalarian Dragons, and coming to terms with his new destiny.
Just as before, Malefor s trying to persuade Spike's perception on what a Purple Dragon REALLY is.
with Celestia, Twilight and Rarity serving as Spike's "voices of reason."
(in fact, I plan for Rarity to use an "Amulet of Aragon" to temporarily transform into a dragon herself.

I have my own FC dragons. Dragon Guardians, actually.
Β FUEGO, the Fire Guardian: (Male) Honorable.
Β HIELO, the Ice Guardian: (Female) Spiritual.
Β TRUENO, the Thunder Guardian: (Male) Courageous.
Β TIERRA, the Earth Guardian: (Female) Militant.
Β VIENTO, the Wind Guardian: (Female) Gentle.
Β AGUA, the Water Guardian: (Male) Cautious.
You may note that the names of my guardian OC's are acually the spanish words for their given element.
I did this because I am not very good with names, and I wanted their names to sound "fancy", not plain.
Your "Celestial Dragons" may be used as characters later on..
OR, they'll just be mentioned as what they are: The ancestors of ALL dragons.
Whatever the case, I liked them as characters and, wanted your permission before I wrote them in.
the story itself is a work in progress. and, is in fact a sequel to another story I am currently working on.
progress is stalled by character naming. particularly the names of Spyro and Cynder's children.
who I want to be either Fire or Wind types (I am convinced that Cynder may be a Wind Dragon, given the only true element she used as Wind.)
You could help me with this. It's ALREADY apparently that you are good in creating dragon characters.
so, you could think up some good names for me to use.

Sure, you can add in Illuminus and Cosmos to your story. I would just ask you credit me.
As for names for Spyro and Cynders kids, that was something I really struggled with. I thought Spyro might want to give a namesake to his Dragonfly parents Flash or Nina, or perhaps Ignitus, or even his dragonfly brother Sparx. Then I thought the names should go with whatever element the babies have... but then I could not make up my mind as to what element they might have.

Okay, I've decided upon naming Spyro and Cynder's daughter "Skyrah"
(as a friend of mine advised that naming her "Skyrim" may NOT be the wisest decision..and, I do believe he is right.)
