Awwww, so we see a flashback into Kindle's past, she was going to be a mother! If you are wondering why one of Kindle and Lasair's eggs is green for the earth element it is because Lasair's mother is an earth dragon.All of the eggs in the nursery are kinda all put together, if you'll notice on the right side in panel three there are quite a few ice dragon eggs--those are Blizzara's eggs, she always has quite a few.

but the eggs are not supposed to be purple? Since this is the year of the dragon, it was not said somewhere that this year's eggs were meant to give birth to purple dragons?

Typically, a human mother has one child, yes?
Sometimes she can have twins.
Sometimes they could have stupid amounts of children, tho that's rare.
Probably the same with dragons, you get the odd dragoness that has more than the norm.
