Description
This is most likely one of the first few uploads I've done that hasn't been something of my own work, and in this case; it most definitely isn't. Instead it was created by KoopaKrazy85 who thought it may be better off if I were to make the upload. Full credit goes to her for this especially.
As for the expressions from left to right, it should be something like; happy, sad, angry and smitten (that last one was more Krazy's idea than mine, and I didn't have much other idea of a fourth expression at the time).
Cheers again to Krazy for putting this all together, and I'd say it's definitely a refsheet worth using. The time and effort put in definitely makes it so.

Can't stress this enough when it comes to expressions. Body language, body language, body language! Copy-pasting the same face and changing minor facial details can only go so far in conveying emotions and emotional levels. The angle of the head, the placements of shoulders/hands, and strategic exaggerations of features all play into creating dynamic emotion portraits.

I appreciate that criticism - and I tend to agree! The only thing I copy/pasted on those little bust things was the basic head angle (in sketch) and the hair, just because to do otherwise would've taken ages. As for the full-body pictures, I was trying to keep it consistent mostly because a reference exists to show a character's appearance and details. Playing with complex poses can obscure body parts and that'd kind of ruin the point, wouldn't it? If this was a full picture rather than just, really, a preview of Tom's OC, then I'd probably have done something more interesting or complex.
The uniformity was intentional, but I respect that you don't find it particularly engaging and I thank you for expressing it

It's quite good. Krazy has done a pretty good job, especially the expressions. (The one on the far left)
Personally I prefer your style of drawing your hair(mane/fur?), you look waaay cuter.
