Description

Beep returned from the trip with a lot on his little mind. As he walked through willow valley, familiar voice caught his attention and snapped him from his thoughts of the events that transpired. It was Nebula, a nice purple pup with thick glowy antennae, and the first folk Beep met when he came to grimsby.

They were perched on top of a fence, waving and calling him over, the woolies they and their lune care for milling about in the pen behind them. Beep slowly trotted over, the jagged ether burns along his back still aching. “Good to see you again Beep, ya doin’ alright? I heard things turned out real rough out there.” the pup queried. Beep sighed. What was he supposed to say? Sure they stopped that… thing that Icarus had turned into, but the  druid tree was still destroyed, he still failed. “If ya don’t feel like talkin’ about it that’s fine-” Nebula started before Beep finally piped up, “no it’s not that, it’s just, i can’t help but feel a bit like this is my fault, if i had just been a bit stronger, a bit faster, then maybe-” Nebula quickly cut off the blue and pink fellow before he could go any further down that train of thought. “Beep, listen to me, ya ain’t at fault for what happened out there, not in the slightest.” Beep had been avoiding eye contact with the pup before, but now looked up at them, surprised by the statement. “You really think so?” Beep replied, the disbelief clear in his voice. “I know so. This was far bigger then ya realize, at least from what i understand anyways. Do me a favor and read the stuff that the Preservation Society released about the interviews with the caravan folk and Baisho, that should clear things up real nice for ya.” Beep would definitely do that later. “But for now, ya ever had a Candied Apple before? Ma’ had some extra left over after the festivities, and told me to give ya one when ya got back.” the purple pup then held out the aforementioned treat for him. It looked almost exactly like the ones he remembered from back home. Candied apples were one of his favorite things to get from the spooky food dispenser. He happily accepted the treat, thanking Nebula before chowing down. It was even better then he remembered.
