Mike adopted a snake at a pet store and took it home and raised it, he called her "Venus" for how her eyes were a sapphire blue, Mike would have trouble feeding her mice case he'd always feel sorry for the mouse, Mike had been doing this for a matter of four months he had noticed that Sapphira had been eating most of the plants in her tank Mike even saw a mouse he caught for her, she didn't eat it she had made friends with it, Mike tried to take the mouse out Sapphira actully protected the mouse like it was her young she curled around the mouse and nuzzled it and to his shock she spoke "I love mice," Mike only bared a smile on his face and happy tears he took the mouse and Sapphira out of the tank and gave them a hug, Sapphira told Mike she had let some of mice he caught out of the tank and set them free, Mike was happy with her and even kept the mouse as a new pet everyday he fed Sapphira and Peep (the mouse) cheese, crackers, and cherries on cold nights Sapphira even swallowed Peep to keep her warm at nights in her belly.
