To my surrprise, people were still favoriting my old digimon art, one of those that was getting faved in recent times was the deviation above which I drew back in grade 10 (which was over 10 years ago!). I felt this old piece needed a redemption because for one; it was old, secondly; it had bad lopsided anatomy and three; it had the ugly burn shading and the background was hard on the eyes. This is my first painting on the surface pro 6, and it was actually enjoyable to paint with it over my surface pro 3.
Truth be told I had some coaching on this to help with lighting and shading from, and if it waswn't for that person's help, this wouldn't have come out as well as it did.
Also....
WHY ARE THERE NO GOOD FULL BODY REFERENCES FOR THIS DUDE WHERE HE'S NOT SITTING OR IN SOME HARD POSE?! like seriously? what is up with that?
