Thank you!!!...I used the "Gimp" software that I got online...still finding bells and whistles...one day I may check out the tutorials...but I am having so much fun blundering along and discovering "What If's"...

cool, and i've tried gimp in the past but couldn't get on with it's interface, but i mainly work with blender 3d and most users don't like it's interface, he he.

i was aware gimp was powerful, but didn't know it could do animation? ...that's really impressive if you could do this all in gimp.

I probably am not using "Gimp" correctly...as I haven't looked thru any of the tutorials, but I am having so much fun discovering new stuff that I am almost afraid to...It would bum me out greatly to discover that I can't do what I have been doing... I have been working with the "Gimp" program long enough that most of what I do is in muscle memory now...which is good, as thinking gets me very confused any more...
I don't do anything complicated...I just do lots of very simple stuff and squish it together...

hi, i don't reallyΒ believe there is an incorrect way of using gimp or any other app, for abstract work like we do. i just wasn't previously aware gimp had those tools, but then i've only ever spent very little time with it.

the equivalent 2d image editor i use is paint.net, which has a much simpler interface, and out of the box, very few tools and filters. but it has hundreds of community written plugins, some of which are quite powerful.

have you installed any plugins for gimp?

what ever workflow you have developed for using it, has resulted in some impressive 2d animations. so i would say it's greater than the sum of its parts. in other words, well done.

Thank you!!!...as far as I know I am just using the basic Gimp...I only use a few of the tools...most of them try to do too much which is all very nice and slick...but leaves less room for chaos...or development of new images...
