Description My exam in special effects in 2014 at NISS.
Silicone applications, wig and all props by me.
Nekhbet crown, ankh, scarabs, anubis and canopic jar cast in various polyurethanes and decorated with coloured epoxy.
The model is Silje, and she is a very cute girl although the prosthetics makes it seems otherwise.

The task for the exam was to create a witch that could have been featured in a specific scene in a specific film, in which many witches of different origins fly towards a meeting. I chose to make a necromancer inspired by Egyptian mythology. The short recap of the design is that she feeds off people's life force (inn some unidentified way) and her body wither slowly over time as she don't get new victims. And when she does, she becomes more or less "normal" once more. In the sculpt she's not quite normal and not quite withered, so her skin has all these fun nice effects and stuff.

I did not post this image earlier because the photographer blitzed the make-up so hard that the features were hardly visible. But, I've been looking over the old photos and found out that a little curving in photoshop made it decent enough. I also added the smoke after, as the smoke-machines stopped working during the shoot.
