Description
Here is my half of the Art Trade with Kamariiya . I find her oc Phoenix very interesting, everything about her including her style. So when she said she was interested in AT I jumped into this one. I did my best to keep her accurate with her design however I will admit that I restarted more times than I wanted to. The biggest issue I had was doing her hair. Because I couldn't get it the way I wanted it in the end I styled it a bit differently than her actual design. Overall I am very happy with the turn out of this picture and I'm proud about how Phoenix turned out, Shadow, well... not so much but what the heck.

Short Story:

The Covert team, Outsiders, as well as their senior members/leaders assembled on the watchtower. Everyone mingled together saying hellos and wondering what was going on.

Finally the zeta tube activated one last time and Kaldur (Aquaman) arrived. He, Nightwing, Miss Martian and Tigress walked to the head of the room and gathered everyone's attention. Quickly a hush fell over the congregated group. Aquaman welcomed everyone and asked the million dollar question, "I understand that you may all be wondering what is going on?" There were murmured answers of yes and nods of heads.

"We have a larger than average scale mission planned. We will need the Outsiders to be there as the visible and public heroes as well as the covert team as the behind the scenes heroes." he continued. Immediately questions began to be raised. Shadow herself began to wonder what was going on?

Aquaman, Nightwing, Tigress and Miss Martian began to break down and explain the mission as well as the plan. The more that Shadow heard the less she liked it and as the explanations wound down she made her opinion clear, "I don't believe that having the Outsiders and team working so closely together right under the nose of the pubic is a good idea. There are too many things that could go wrong."

Phoenix had been thinking that same thing. As Aquaman and the others tried to calm Shadow's worries, Phoenix made her way over to her. She took a stance next to Shadow and at the next pause stated her own opinion, "You have explained the mission and plan well. But I stand with Shadow in thinking that this could go terribly wrong. There has to be a better way to organise this."

Shadow and Phoenix stood together bringing flaws to the plan and shedding light on their reasonable concerns. More members of both teams began to see the possible flaws. Nightwing stepped forward, "You have a point, but this is important with a lot at stake. We must come together for this to work."

"You are right, but we need to take 5 minutes and rethink our game plan for this to work the best way possible" Shadow said. Phoenix nodded her agreement. "Very well, all those who'd like to help discuss the new strategy may join us in the conference room." Kaldur conceded.

Members of both teams left the room. As they turned to leave Shadow touched Phoenix on her shoulder causing her to turn toward her. "I wanted to thank you for standing with me. I appreciate it."

"Of course, besides if you hadn't said anything I would have. If not out of the obvious flaws in the plan then just to say something." she replied.

"You always have to say something right?"

Phoenix smirked, "Not ALWAYS."

Shadow laughed and the girls headed to the conference room.
