I made this for a few reasons.One was that I noticed people like pokémon art, and since I'm in a bit of an artistic slump I thought "Hey, may as well give 'em just that."
Two, I truly love this evolutionary line of pokémon. In fact, Tyranitar is one of my favorite pokémon of all time.
And three, there are no wallpapers out there featuring these pokémon. Especially no high res ones. So I took it upon myself to make one.

Now, I' not sure what resolutions your screens are, so just take it yourself and resize it. Or, just ask for a specific size and I'll resize it for you and upload that resolution as well.)
Now, the original one of these I made at 6400x4000... So yeah, I worked big on this one. Dunno why, but I did. I think it's because I suck quite terribly at digital inking (and inking in general...) so I took a cop out and make a huge sketch so the lines wouldn't look that bad...
Now that being said there's something terribly wrong with this. I'm not sure what, but there just is... And it makes me terribly disappointed, since I was so enthusiastic going through the work...
I truly feel like I've failed. I don't know why.
Ah well. Maybe someday I'll like my work...
If you have anything to say that could make this better by all means, say so. (I know that that shadow should extend to the end of Pupitar's head thing. Don't worry about that, I'll take care of it tomorrow, when it's NOT 6 a.m.)

Thank you! I noticed you've been mostly looking at the pokemon fanart I've done. I have a few scratchboard-ish pokemon fanart pieces in my scraps folder if you're interested!

Tyranitar seems like a Mixture of Pupitar and Larvitar, but in adult form, do you every notice the "mask" in Pupitar, the holes in Pupitar? Tyrantiar has that, but the eyes are up on it's head, and the spikes, and the Bule rhombus is shaped like a Pupitar, and Larvitar's tail is shorter, the holes on it's body, and it's skin.

You did a really good job, DD. I can't find anything wrong in the anatomy (which is usually what people mess up on with Pokémon) so perhaps it's the background? I wouldn't say it's something big or noticeable, but the colors seem off by a bit. Other than that, it's a wonderfully detailed piece. Working on these guys at that big a file size is probably both smart and worthy of me bowing to your efforts. *bows* I have a tiny screen that makes it miserable to do big files, so yeah.
