I dunno might be just because I really love it already, but IMO too much shading would make it look less cuddlywuddly and innocent. Shadows make things look more grim and menacing sometimes

True. I wasn't thinking too much about it, but was vaguely aiming for a children's book illustration sort of look, with bright colours and little shading.
