Catacoal's overhaul made the design a lot more simple/cleaner. I removed features like the several eyes it had going on and replaced them with details that transitioned better from its previous stage. The fire's also looking a lot better overall. That's always a fun thing to color.
And just to point out, Catacoal can learn both Self-Destruct and Explosion through level up. However, it won't learn Explosion until LVL 40, so hang in there if you want it! ... or if you're an impatient little bastard, just use TM64 and be done with it. Short and sweet, but I shame you for not going the extra mile. Boo.

In a game I am playing with mostly fakemon a hack of gen 3. Tranlated from japanese. The Fire starter just evolved recently into second stage into something similar to a Grenade Pokemon a Fire/Steel Bomb Pokemon. I am trying to make an all Fakemon team so as soon as I get another fakemon Water type. Poliwag almost Poliwhirl and same for Staravia when I get a flyer. Every hacked gym leader in the game seems to have a final pokemon that isn't part of their gym and is very different from their style Brock the Hack of Roxanne used the Water Starter and Mary the hack of Brawly ended up with a Flying pokemon. I noticed when my Staravia's attacks weren't super effective. Anyways these games are more challenging then the originals.

It has higher defences than Pyroach as it looks like it's in sort of a cocoon state, its Sp. Attack isn't so bad either but its Speed is quite lacking.

this would be a terrible pokemon for in nuzlockes ._. both to have it and to have it against you. the enemies will use selfdestruct and explosion against you and you can't kill it with fire either
and if yours gets hit with fire it will be dead too ._.

Not that you'd want to hit it with Fire anyways, considering its neutrality to it. >w>
Just be sure to knock it out quickly and you should be safe. And should it manage to survive long enough, you'll have a powerful ally to fight alongside you in the long run.

and most of the time you don't have a choice in nuzlockes anyways :I

Eh? Fire isn't weak to fire. Bug is weak to fire, but because this Pokemon's both Fire and Bug, it takes neutral damage from Fire.
With something like this, you just need to be extra careful. Just hope it uses a different move other than the ka-boom ticket if its against ya. >w>
