Well, there's been better years lol. 2016 was one mess after another. Deaths, politics, you name it. This year was full of it. Oi vey. Drama in the world aside, I've practiced being more loose with my art style this year. I think I've gotten to the point where I'm able to draw people with better consistency. Expect more of that in the future! I've certainly improved too! Here's old Prof. Ginkgo VS new Prof. Ginkgo!

Anyways, time for a little art summary:

Excelo Region Fakedex: Regrettably, another year, another year Excelo's still just barely at the finish line. While I've definitely been more active making Fakemon this year, this is no excuse for failing to live up on completing it. However, I have been hard at work behind the scenes. While I didn't meet my deadline, I can't say I've been demotivated one bit. I'll be posting some silhouettes soon to reassure you all that this dex ain't gonna be forever incomplete, along with some other surprises. Thank you all who've been bearing with me for this long, and next time, we'll be aiming for 100%!

FUSE Corp: Fusions have been relatively the same over the year, though more experimentation with shading/highlights is noticeable. A fun character introduced over this year was our daring honey obsessed spy, Mirra B. What plans in the upcoming weeks does she have in store for FUSE Corp? Only one wa

Starbound: Starbound's pretty much a sunken game at this point. It's truly a shame honestly. Out of respect for my friend and his work, my last contribution to the community will most likely be our Chocobo mod which has been put on hold for over the past year. I'll be posting promo art for it once it's completed.

Comics: While not as much comics as I wanted to get done, the quality's gone up I feel! I still have many more ideas still written down in my notepad, so please look forward to them!

Monster Girls/Guys: At the end of the year, I can say with confidence that I'm genuinely pleased with how the quality of my people art has been. I'm fond of making those little species cards like the one I made for my penguin harpies. I have one completed you all will be seeing soon (possible tomorrow!)! In addition to this, I feel like this year's a good year to finally start doing some things with my characters. Maybe a short 4koma series? Who knows?

Commissions: Like the year before it, this year was pretty focused on commission work. Heck, I'm still not done with all of them! My apologies and thanks to those who are waiting with eager patience! I think I may start making a few changes regarding the amount I take at once per commission session. We'll see after I finish this batch.~

?????: I plan on starting a new big project this year as well. Currently it's only in the idea phase, but I plan on throwing out some concept art and mock images for it soon.

An eventful year no doubt. But let's try to make 2017 a better one, shall we? Onward!
