Oh my gosh, the creator herself noticed me! ^o^

I thought Pokémon Uranium needed a proper homage, so what better way to honor it than commissioning a Battle-cut of my 6 favourite fakemons from the game? And by Dragonith himself, no less!

Interesting tidbits about the commission:

-Dragonith got Electruxo's sketch right on the first try. Its electricity is yellow/orange in order to set it apart from Jerbolta's signature turquoise.

-Jerbolta was by far the hardest one to get right. From the head to the body, the cheeks and the quills... Many sketches & ideas were thrown away in the process. Could it be better? Maybe, but we did everything to nail it as best as possible.

-We nailed Splendifowl on the second try; the trick was to use its back sprite as a reference instead of the "over-stylized" official art (no offense to Yogurtleague, though). The gusts of wind are meant to show it using Whirlwind, btw.

-I was torn on which fire Pokémon to use. On one hand, I absolutely adore Beliaddon for its design (which reminds me of BBQ wings, who would've though? lol). On the other hand, Mega-Inflagetah's glorious cyan fire left a mark on me and I couldn't ignore its epicness. Since I only had enough room for one, I went with Inflagetah, Mega-Evolution limit be damned.

-Getting Dramsama herself right wasn't too hard. The pyschic effect, on the other hand... We first started with a simple purple outline, then followed with a wall of eyes meant to hint at her using Mean Look. Since it looked too much like tapestry, I suggested using Mean Look's version from Pokémon Colosseum/XD, two of my favourite Gamecube games ever. That it ended up fitting right next to Dramsama's neck is a happy coincidence. That bird is cruel, yet powerful (and one of my favourite designs of yours).

-Last but not least, I specifically requested Nucleon to have a black background in order to set it apart from the rest of the team as a Nuclear type. I wanted its green glow to communicate an "Heroic radioactivity", which a black background would help emphatize. The glowing eyes were more of a throaway request, but Dragonith made them look so awesome, Nucleon pretty much became my favourite part of the Battle-cut.

You did a fantastic job on all of them! Seeing this on the game's 2nd anniversary was so fantastic, it really made my day ^^ Thanks so very much to both of you! It's amazing!

As long as you have references for the Fakemon, the price is the same as my usual Battle Cuts.

Same price as usual: 48,00 USD (Aka 60,00 CAD) for six Pokémon.

Just make sure to include references & visual descriptions of the fakemons (the latter especially if they have no official artwork).
