Additional Comments: This design's based on the same animal as Burmy; a bagworm pupa. It also draws some inspirations from log cabins and Lincoln Logs. Be careful with that match!

It's not, it's like Defeatist in that it is entirely a detrimental ability that shapes how you make your plays and build your teams (For example, your Archeops will become dead weight below half HP so you'd better have some kind of cleric or support to take out all of Archeop's checks before he comes in.) even if Bonabode has 6x Iron Defense/Calm Mind boosts it will die if a Fire-type move even brushes past it a little, so you'd better be damn good at predicting the enemy's moveset.

Since it's its first form, there's really no way to tell, haha. I'm betting it's a mon that leans on the physical defense side (or at least as defensive as a first stage bug/grass can be) then suddenly shifts to some kind of fast special sweeper when it evolves. ngl I'd like to see a mono-Fire team get styled on by a F.E.A.R strat with that ability tho

It's Bug/Grass, and you give it that ability. At least Dry Skin had its uses for Parasect.
Let me guess: You have to set Bonabode on fire to evolve it and it becomes Bug/Fire?

I like the idea of an ability that makes sense for the Pokémon given its lore, even if said ability is severely detrimental. And it's not like Bonabode would survive a Fire-type hit anyway, given its type combo...
